GAN 16 MagLev Max UV Coated

GAN16 Maglev is crazy smooth. I’ve had a few GANs before, but this one feels lighter and snappier, and it moves much faster. I’m not a pro, but even I can tell it’s way ahead of the older models. I noticed my times improving within a few days of practice. Very satisfied.

This cube is absolutely top tier. I’ve used plenty of speed cubes before, but the GAN 16 MagLev MAX really does feel like it’s on another level. Out of the box it turns buttery smooth, no catching or locking, and the magnetic alignment is strong enough to guide the layers into place without being overpowering. It feels like every move snaps right where it should, which makes solving at high speed a lot more controlled and consistent.

The UV coating gives it a sleek, glossy finish that not only looks good but also makes it easier to grip without sticking or slipping. I also love how customizable it is. You’ve got a ton of tension and magnet settings to play around with, so you can fine tune it until it matches exactly how you like to solve. The stability is rock solid even during fast solves, no weird corner twists or shaky layers.

It’s definitely a premium cube and the price reflects that, but you’re getting what you pay for. If you’re serious about cubing and want something that feels reliable and competition ready, this is absolutely worth it. Smooth, fast, and endlessly tunable, it feels like the endgame cube.

If you want the best cube on the market, this is it. The magnets repel as you turn, making the cube super fast and attracting to complete the turn precisely. The action is super smooth, and it corner cuts to 45 degrees, making it nearly unpoppable. The stickerless design and UV coating allow your fingers to slide to new positions quickly.

It is also exceptionally tunable. Face tension has 12 settings, which control the cube's resistance while turning. Central travel settings allow you to improve corner cutting at the expense of popping or vice versa. Best of all, it comes with three sets of magnets, which impact how well the cube will align at the expense of turning speed.

While this is a top-of-the-line cube, it is not ideal for beginners. The fast turning and UV coating require very precise movements, and all the settings are frankly going to be overwhelming. If your solves are not under a minute yet, you will be wasting your money, and are better off with something like a $10-$20 MoYu

My new main cube! GAN products from the cube shop never disappoints. This MagLev system has very little friction, feels like the layers are floating. The sides perfectly auto-home from significant angles even with no inertia. This cube is fantastic. It bridges the gap between different feels to create something unique. Comes with cusomizing tools and spare parts as well as a great travel case and a drawstring bag for protection.The best thing I can say about it is this. It's my new main cube.

This is a Rubik's cube on steroids. I gather there is a world of folks who compete with these. I'm not one of them. I just like to fidget with a quick diversion at my desk when I need a break. I think I will give this to my son. He will appreciate it a bit more than me. Really, the quicker I try to go with this, the worse I do. And, it isn't exactly the stress-relieving break I'm looking for.
